People Are Talking. And here's what they have to say...
I read both books back to back and really enjoyed them.... After all what Yasmin's went thru having to find out about who is her biological father. And a bitter mother who blames Yasmin for everything. She had a rock in Braxton her husband. The one man that holds her Heard. He saw to it that Yasmine can lean on him. But with Braxton holding a secret that not only will shattered Yasmine heart but can ruin whatever relationship they both fought to build. Yasmine will not only be hurt by her husband betrayal but someone that close to both of the. As well. This book took you thru real life situations, your emotions will be on an all time high as your facing the heartache Yasmin's must endured. When all around her is closing in whom can she turn to. Who will see her thru this. When everyone keep telling Yasmin's what to do , no one seems to realized what Yasmin's has to go thru. The author did a really good job of the anguish, the pain and uncertainty that Yasmin faced. Yes after all the stops and start she and Braxton was able to come together and overcome. A really good book and I highly recommend.

I received this book for review a couple of weeks ago, and fell in love with the cover. You Call That Love is a story about finding love, being in love, and realizing how precious that love was when it's lost. I was fussing at the characters in the book, because I wanted them to "get it right". This book made me yell (cussed a couple of times), cheer, laugh, and cry. The ending, oh man, the ending. If you've ever been in love, dated, or married, you can definitely relate to this book; I would recommend this book to everyone!

Robinson's words flow so smoothly through your mind that you feel as if you're there
with the characters. I feel like she captured experiences I've had with friends and brought them to life.
You'll love this one. It's definitely a breath of fresh air from the typical. I can't
wait to see what's next.

Hey Nakia!,
I finally had a chance to read the last three books you wrote. I'm the one from the over accessorize events whose sister does the bangin carrot cake and sweet potatoe swirl cheesecake. I read the first book a few months after I purchased it from you at last year's spring event.
I called myself savoring it to read on the beach in Jamaica and the first night after I got settled in I read the entire book that night. Needless to say I was angry at myself for not pacing so I could have something to read. I just had to keep going to know what happened next.
When I saw you at the fall event and learned you had a sequel to You Call That Love, I was excited. Well!........I just started the sequel this past Sunday and just finished up the last book this evening! I couldn't stop! I had to read more! I wanted to know what happened! I was so pumped to see it was a series! Wow Nakia! You are truly talented!!! Thank you for taking me on a journey of drama, love, deceit, hurt, forgiveness, happiness, sadness....I could go on and on! It was so good! It had me either crying or laughing! I know this is long winded, but I wanted you to read the excitement I have over your gift. It truly is! I hope you have another series about Kevin. I wonder will Jackie finally let go. I wonder will they find Rocco and I wonder how much time punk ass Javon gets! LMAO! As you can see I got lost in the story......
Have a blessed one Nakia and I pray nothing but your success on this journey.

We all have had our difficult moments, but it is sometimes in those challenges that we are able to discover our strength.
In LIVING IN THE DARKEST LIFE we take an emotional journey along with Joyce Edwards as she shares not just her experiences of love and loss, but her ability to be able to go on, in spite of the challenges. This is one of those books that speaks to the how we can survive when we seem to have lost it all. It's a revealing look at abuse, suffering and tragedy that many people only think about might happen. For Joyce Edwards it was apart of her life.
You'll feel her pain as she talks about losing a beloved member of her family and her own child as well as the abuse and accusations she faced. How was she able to keep going and not let it all stop her? That is part of what she shares in the book.
A quick read but one that will stay with you long after you finish, LIVING IN THE DARKEST LIFE gives you hope for overcoming your own challenges.

Nakia,
I enjoyed your book immensely!!!! I just couldn't put it down at night to go to bed. I was also shocked to learn why Yasmin had been treated so badly by her parents!! She was a surviver though and smart. I can't wait for your next book to come out. Please email when and where I can get my copy. Please keep on writing Girl, because you got skills!!!!! LOL

This book was fantastic. It hooked me so much that I could not put it down. What I really enjoyed about the book was that it was real and it wasn't always comfortable. It told the truth about the messiness of life and relationships. The author captured me hook, line, and sinker with this novel. I am in heavy pursuit of the continuation. "Love Me Right" here I come.

Nakia keeps you on the edge of your seat. This book is filled with twists and turns. Once you get started you can't put it down. I read this in 1 1/2 days. The end had me saying, "Oh no she didn't". Nakia gets better and better with each book she writes. If you want a great read, read all three books.
